LTM5007 Multimedia Production Management
LTM5007 was my fifth doctoral course in my specialization of Educational Technology Management (ETM). My mentor was Dr. Susanne Flannelly, an excellent mentor who demonstrated support and understanding of the difficulties that I experienced during this course with time management. She provided meaningful and timely feedback in all my assignments.
I accomplished my goal of learning how to create a wealth of interactive learning resources for my math courses and for the math center of the educational institution I currently work. I learned innovative ways of delivering course content, other than the traditional Power Point presentations and handouts. I explored using technological tools such as podcasts, screencasts, pencasts, videos, and other multimedia tools in this course. I envision students choosing those learning resources that best fit their learning styles and help them grasp the content of my math courses. I believe teachers should not rely only on class lectures to teach the concepts and skills covered in a course.
